Hurricane Melissa Relief

Hurricane Melissa, the worst storm in Jamaica’s history, is tearing through the island with winds over 180 mph, up to 40 inches of rain, and catastrophic flooding and landslides. Power outages, flooded bridges, and stranded residents—including many Americans and nursing home patients—are already being reported. Our team and partners are fully mobilized, working around the clock to rush emergency supplies, meals, and hygiene kits as soon as it’s safe. Update: Texas Hill Country Relief

We have been assisting Texas Hill Country since the historic flooding on July 4th that damaged communities. We are currently helping rebuild over 70+ homes in Texas Hill Country and San Antonio, Texas. We are only able to do this work because of your support. Watch the latest updates here:

Texas Hill Country Flooding Response

RESTORING THE HUMAN SPIRIT

Since the early morning hours of July 5th, Mercury One has been aiding the devastating, once-in-a-generation flooding in the Texas Hill Country.

In partnership with local churches, our partners, and national relief teams, we’ve assisted in search and rescue operations, provided over 25,000 hot meals, distributed critical supplies, and are now helping families begin the difficult work of rebuilding.

Here’s just a glimpse of the impact our donors have made:

We heard of a young mother who lost both her husband and her home. She and her children had been sleeping on a friend’s couch. Because of your generosity, we were able to secure hotel rooms for her family and cover funeral costs for her husband.
We’re restoring the Bumble Bee Hills neighborhood alongside Somebody Cares, distributing generators, dehumidifiers, and supplies to volunteer teams clearing homes.
With Operation BBQ Relief and Operation Blessing, we’ve served thousands of meals and provided emergency goods. We’re also working with local churches to cover funeral costs, provide temporary shelter solutions, and long term local support.
Ranchers and farmers are receiving feed, hay, and fencing supplies through our partnership with the Texas Panhandle Livestock & Agricultural Disaster Relief Fund—with deliveries reaching communities across the region.
We are supporting ITDRC who has been providing essential communication support and working with state and federal search and recovery teams, who are still helping families find their loved ones.

Hurricane Helene Relief Efforts

RESTORING THE HUMAN SPIRIT

Over a year after Hurricane Helene, our efforts remain strong.

Since before landfall, we’ve supported partners on the ground and have now transitioned to long-term recovery. In partnership with Excel College, Adventures Relief, and Operation Blessing, we’re rebuilding 300+ homes in Western North Carolina.

Thanks to your donations, we funded a new volunteer facility at Excel College to support weekly volunteer groups. We’ve helped rebuild Trinity Baptist Church in Asheville, NC, installing new sanctuary carpet, restoring the student worship center, and drilling wells to provide clean water. We’ve also aided church members by rebuilding homes and clearing properties.

In partnership with The Jack Brewer Foundation, we’ve supported 15 mission projects in Georgia and Florida.

When you give to specific initiatives with Mercury One, 100% of your donation, excluding credit card processing fees, goes to that initiative.
