Mercury One is committed to taking action through American History Education and Humanitarian Aid. We have an established history of mobilizing individuals and organizations to empower people to take action through knowledge, faith, self-reliance, and determination. Inspired by President Abraham Lincoln’s challenge to act “with malice towards none and charity for all,” its mission is to improve the human condition.
In 2011, the non-profit organization was founded by national radio host, author, and entrepreneur Glenn Beck and his wife Tania. Mercury One is a nonprofit focused on restoring the human spirit by providing humanitarian aid and educational opportunities to people in the U.S. and abroad.
Our initiatives include programming to advance the skills, knowledge, and attitudes of vulnerable communities so that they might achieve independence and self-sufficiency. We’re passionate about serving our nation’s veterans, providing aid to those in crisis, and rebuilding and restoring the lives of Christians and other persecuted religious minorities in the Middle East through The Nazarene Fund.
We believe in the tenets of honor, faith, courage, hope, and love: these are some of the most powerful tools to combat evil in this world. We’re committed to standing up, speaking out, and taking action when no one else will. Together, we can make a difference. Thank you for joining us on our journey.
Mercury One’s Initiatives
Actions speak louder than words, and that is why Mercury One is dedicated to providing love and aid to those in need. As believers in “malice toward none and charity for all”, Mercury One supports those who are in crisis situations. Over the past five years, Mercury One has supported those in the path of disaster; agencies affecting change in the areas of domestic abuse, sex slavery and human trafficking, veteran initiatives; and rescuing, restoring and rebuilding the lives of Christians and other persecuted religious minorities in the Middle East.
Our future hinges on our ability to learn from the past. Preserving heritage and original first source documents for our communities to explore and experience is important to our mission of equipping, empowering, and enlightening this generation and the next. The purchase and preservation of key documents and artifacts allow us to teach the values and principles our great nation was founded upon, including an emphasis on the Constitution. Leaving a Legacy. Educating the Future.
Check Out Two Recent Events at Mercury One:
2017 M1 BALL
Last year’s M1 Ball was a blast! We raised funds to support Mercury One’s administrative and operational costs, allowing fund-specific gifts to benefit 100% those select projects. Attendees were treated to great food and drinks, live music, a silent auction, and a raffle. One lucky winner drove away in a brand new 2017 GMC Canyon! This year, the M1 Ball will be held at Mercury Studios in Las Colinas/Irving, Texas where we will draw the winning raffle for a 2018 Mercedes-Benz CLA250. We hope you can join us in November.
As Americans, what responsibility do we shoulder when it comes to defending our rights? How can we move forward amidst uncertainty surrounding the intent of our founding ideals? At this summer’s Rights & Responsibilities Museum, guests examined these questions, exploring historical artifacts and documents that revealed our core principles and values as laid out by the Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights. Look out for more exciting events like this in the future!
